    I was at the warming center I'm n millville nj. I was hurt and shocked at the way we were talked to as well as the way we were being housed it was very nasty

Description: Cumberland County Code Blue Coalition - The M25 Initiative

A Code Blue is initiated when temperatures are 32 degrees with precipitation or 25 degrees without precipitation. Warming Centers are housed by host churches on a rotating basis from 6 PM to 6 AM. The Code Blue Season runs from November through March.

The Cumberland County Code Blue program provides Warming Centers as a way for homeless persons in the community to find shelter from frigid overnight temperatures during the cold winter months.

Donation Requests by Cumberland County Code Blue Coalition - Warming Centers: The M25 Initiative seeks to build upon the grassroots faith-based success of Code Blue to meet the needs of the poor among us, as described in Matthew 25:31-46 (hence, the name M25!). Many of these shelters now have waiting lists. Please call before going to them. Many waiting lists are very long. Shelters and service also go out of business. Always call ahead to confirm that this location is still active. If you find that this location is no longer operating, please send us a comment using the form below.
