Description: The Emergency Overnight Services Program is a secular program. All services are provided free of charge to all arriving in need regardless of gender, national origin, ethnic background, social economic group, religion or age group.
Meeting physical needs
The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission currently shelters 150+ men, women and children. CVRM also offers a Emergency Shelter to an additional 75 men, women and children each night in our multi-purpose overnight shelter. All people in this program are served breakfast and dinner along with the options of showers, clothes, hygiene and case management services.
Taking the next step
So that they may regain self-sufficiency, the Mission offers or directs individuals to an array of local programs including job training and counseling services. Various classes are available, such as English, Math and computer skills, as well as assistance to those in need of obtaining a GED. Classes required by agencies such as anger management are also offered. Transportation is available to schools, jobs or medical facilities.

Donation Requests by Coachella Valley Rescue Mission: Socks, Toiletries (soap,toothbrushes, deoderant,razors,shampoo) Men\'s and Women\\\'s undergarments, women\'s hygiene products, pancake mix and syrup, dry pasta - all types, dry cereal, bottled water, and financial gifts.

Many of these shelters now have waiting lists. Please call before going to them. Many waiting lists are very long. Shelters and service also go out of business.
