Maranatha House Ministries, Inc.

Situated on 33 acres in Northeast Georgia, Maranatha House is the first and only female head-of-household transitional shelter offering stays of up to one year. Located in Gwinnett Count, the facility offers housing for up to forty families and relies solely on private funding and donations for its operating budget.

PAVING THE ROAD TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY
Maranatha House Ministries [MHM] becomes the accountability team our residents partner with on their road to self-sufficiency. Each female head -of-household residing at MHM agrees to:
Maintain employment and/or attendance in workplace re-education courses
Attend mandatory weekly classes and support groups
Ensure school-aged children attend school and MHM University, Jr. programming
Work with assigned case manager on goals and objectives identified in individual sustainability plan.
Residents are empowered to be accountable for their participation in MHM programs. We believe that with a commitment of conditional support, our residents have a greater chance of life-long success.
