The Rescue Mission of Trenton provided shelter to me for a year during 2015. I was kept safe. Meals were provided. Clothing and toiletries were also provided. After a year, I received housing with 2 other women from the shelter. After 1-1/2 years, we moved to a bigger location. During the time that I have been living in housing, I became engaged in the addictions recovery process and have 8 months clean and am working a recovery program. I was also connected with services in the Catholic Charities partial care program known as Partners in Recovery. I have been receiving addictions and mental health services there since October 2015 and I have experienced a total change for the positive in my life. I had no idea how much a shelter program can do for a client. I owe a debt of gratitude to the Rescue Mission of Trenton. Thank you!
