Sarah's Hope At Hannah More - Reisterstown, MD



Offers emergency shelter and case management services for 90 days. Residents receive 3 meals per day, case management, life skills training, referrals to various community services including substance abuse and job readiness programs for established clients. Also provides housing counseling.

Eligibility Homeless single women, married couples, and one or two parent families. Single men with children (No individual single men).

Accepts referrals from Baltimore County Department of Social Services.

Comprehensive 85 bed shelter serving homeless families in Baltimore County. Services include meals, youth activities and tutoring, adult education classes, case management, housing placement and referrals.

Volunteers Requests by Sarah's Hope At Hannah More : Volunteer Requirements: 13 and olderVolunteer Duties: Assist with organizing storage areas, preparing and serving meals, and tutoring/reading to children of residents.


Donation Requests by Sarah's Hope At Hannah More : Accepts food, clothing, household supplies and monetary donations.

    resident of hannah more reisterstown this shelter is a poor excuse of help they tell you they will assist you with your needs but don't do anything but sit around talking bout they people who stay in shelter they talk to any kind away cussing not profess

    I'm a resident there I've been there for almost 3 months I have not received help they told me I had to leave because my discharge date is coming up soon I ask to speak with director they always saying she's busy they told me I wasn't eligible for front doors program because I scored a 3 but I need a 12 to be qualified and now they saying they are not going by score's anymore but I'm still not qualified assistance director don't care about any of us she help who she wanna help staff here are rude they look down on us like we are nothing people are leaving here with no help or resources they whole time I been here they only help 3 people and they are favored.
