Provides assistance to individuals and families experiencing a domestic violence situation.

EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM: The Family Crisis Center Emergency Safe Shelter provides 90 days of anonymous safe shelter to adult and child victims of domestic who are forced to flee their homes to avoid further conflict or violence. While residing in the Emergency Safe Shelter clients are provide with services that will assist them in addressing the violence and finding a violence-free life after their stay at the shelter. These services include: shelter and meals for themselves and their children, crisis intervention and ongoing counseling, case management services (housing advocacy, medical referrals, job preparation, legal advocacy, resources and referrals) transportation expenses, support groups, parenting groups, childrens play groups, and school placement for children.
TRANSITIONAL PROGRAMS: Provides transitional housing, up to 18 months for victims who first reside in the Emergency Safe Shelter.

COUNSELING: Provides individual and family counseling for those experiencing conflict and/or violence in their relationships.

VICTIM ADVOCATE SERVICE: Provides advocates to make contact with victims whose abusers are enrolled in court ordered treatment at Family Crisis Center. Police/ Advocate home intervention with identified domestic violence cases reported to the police. Safety planning, information about legal resources and court room accompaniment.

Eligibility Family members attempting to end the conflict or violence in their relationships.
