Description: We do not have a homeless shelter we have a shelter for domestic violence victims and their children.

Today, the Yakima YWCA focuses on three areas: empowering women and girls, building self-sufficient women and eliminating family violence. From providing emergency shelter to a battered woman and her children, to helping a young girl discover the exciting world of science, the Yakima YWCA provides a supportive venue to encourage women and help them grow. Underlying its eff orts is a commitment to collaborate with other community partners and to embrace and celebrate diversity.
