The Mission of the Hope House of the Good Shepherd, Inc of Southwest Virginia is to provide a Christ-based recovery program for the homeless and hurting that will help them to be healthy, happy, productive and self-sufficient.

Friendly people good work ethic great support groups also very nice living quarters couldn't think of a better place I'd rather be free out of jail changing my life with the support and help of my peers and others around me this truly is a blessing

I would not recommend Galax Hope House Galax Va. They kick me out on the 4 day I was there. 1st night I checked in, Manager wasn't there and no one told me the rules there. 2nd night I didn't come back there and 4th night I came and went to my room to my bed and a guy came and told me that I had to go because I didn't come home on 2nd night. And I worked during the day and no one ever said anything about the rules there to me.

Too many chiefs not enough indians..the ones in charge in the house are on dope....they do not get tested..there are some been there over a yr

This place saved my life...If you wanna continue to use drugs not the place to be...God moves there.
