Description: Founded by professors Andrej Kodjak and Lorraine Wynne in 1982. University Community Soup Kitchen, a state approved association was incorporated as a NYS 501 c 3 non profit in 1997 as University Community Social Services, Inc. In March of 2008 University Community Social Services moved out of Church of the Nativity. Please list us as University Community Social Services, Inc. "The Meatloaf Kitchen" Our current address is 137 East Second Street, New York, NY 10009. Our phone contact remains the same at 917.754.9878. Joseph J. Montano is the current director and contact. We are open Saturdays only from 8AM to 2:30PM. We run a soup kitchen, (Emergency Food Program), provide social services, a computer skills program, clothing and groceries all on Saturdays. Thank you.
