Gleaning America'S Fields - Feeding America'S Hungry. Sosa Was Founded To Feed The Hungry From The Bounty God Has Provided. The Society Has A Vision Of A World Without Hunger - Its Goal Is To "Salvage Food...Feed The Hungry." Sosa Saves Perfectly Nutritious Produce That Would Otherwise Go To Waste Because Of Market Reasons. The Produce Is Distributed By Volunteers To Thousands Of Agencies Across The Country. As Of The End Of 2005 Nearly Half A Billion Pounds Of Produce Has Been Saved And Distributed.
