Description: The Food Bank Was Established In Order To Efficiently Gather, Warehouse And Distribute Nationally And Locally Donated Food And Other Grocery Type Products To Charities Who In Turn Attempt To Meet The Emergency Food Needs Of Food Insecure People In San Diego County. In Furtherance Of Its Purpose, The Food Bank Provides Food And Other Grocery Type Products Directly To Remote Feeding Sites, Promotes The General Awareness Of Hunger And The Value Of Proper Nutrition.
