Description: The Food Bank is a centralized warehouse that stores and distributes donated and purchased perishable and nonperishable food items. We distribute food to low-income people through member agencies that serve the ill, needy and infants.

The Food Bank works to reduce food waste, feed hungry people and raise public awareness of issues related to food and hunger.

We distribute 4.5 million pounds of food per year to over 190 feeding programs across East Central Alabama.  Our partner agencies include emergency food pantries, shelters for the homeless, soup kitchens, special residential facilities, low-income day care providers, after school programs, and shelters for abused women.

Donation Requests by East Alabama Food Bank: The Food Bank can accept food donations as follows: 375 Industry Drive, Auburn, AL Monday through Friday -- 6:30 am - 4 pm
