Isaiah 61 Ministries

Isaiah 61 Ministries' mission is to be God's hands and feet in this world by showing His love through our actions. We want everyone that we serve to know God loves them and cares for all of their needs.

We provide meals to the homeless and needy every Tuesday and Wednesday evening behind the courthouse in Harrisburg PA. We also provide toiletries, clothing, new shoes, quality of life items, and will help purchase medications with a valid (non-narcotic) script. Besides providing for physical needs we believe the most important things we share with those we serve are the friendships formed, advocacy, and spiritual support.

We have a LifeGroup that meets bi-weekly. The purpose of this group is to form accountability and encouraging relationships while studying God's word together.

They also have opened a soup kitchen and clothing bank at the Halifax address given in this update. Halifax soup kitchen is open Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30-7. Clothing bank open Mon and Thurs from 12-5 and Saturdays from 12-3. They also still serve the Tues and Wednesday meals in HBG. Last change is that LifeGroup now meets weekly.
