Housing Services at NAM is a comprehensive program to help families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and put them on a path toward self-sufficiency. To access NAM programs and services please take advantage of NAM's walk in intake office located at the NAM office 15555 Kuykendahl Rd. Houston, TX 77090; Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 11:00 am & 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

Thanks to funding from Harris County Community Services Department and a variety of foundations and government grants, Housing Services provides:

• Financial assistance with rent or mortgage
• Help finding affordable housing
• Case management
• Referrals to address other needs

About The Program

Housing Services at NAM provides help in a variety of ways. NAMs Supportive Housing Program, funded by the Harris County Community Services Department, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides housing subsidies and supportive services to homeless families. The Emergency Food and Shelter Program provides one months rent or mortgage for anyone who resides in Harris County and is unable to pay due to a sudden unexpected reduction in income or paid emergency expense There are no income restrictions for eligibility, but they must be legally responsible for the payment.
