Full time shelter open 24/7/365 welcoming men, women, families and unaccompanied minors.
Supervised, safe facility offering meals, showers, laundry, beds.
SPIN (Supporting People In Need) offers counseling 8;00am-5;00pm, Monday to Friday assisting with mental health issues, food stamps, Medicaid, legal questions and HUD housing.

SPIN also offers transportation from the hospital or detention center or anywhere else in town to the shelter.

No violence, alcohol, recreational drugs or smoking permitted.
Pets considered on an individual basis

Tags Donations Needed: Cash. For all genders and ages: Coats. Socks. Snacks. (food is otherwise provided by delivery from Gospel Mission 111 S Texas St . Laundry soap. Toiletries. Toilet paper and paper towels. Over the counter first aid supplies. Volunteers Needed: We encourage people to give their time, talent or treasure as they are able. Can you cook, do yard work, cut hair, visit with clients, do laundry or cleaning? Call for ideas at (575)494-1128 Covid protections are practiced. You will qualify for vaccine as a volunteer in a shelter

Be prepared to stay outside a couple hrs a day, even if Temps are freezing (supposedly so staff can clean...they Dont!!) And prepare for lots of drugs and alcohol inside.
