Emergency homeless shelter for young moms, pregnant or parenting, between the ages of 17 and 21, and their children.MELD at Trinity House Homeless Shelter provides housing for homeless pregnant or parenting young mothers and their children. The shelter is located at 620 Kishwaukee Street.

Emergency beds for pregnant or parenting young mothers and their children
Must be homeless and between 16 and 21 years of age
120 day maximum stay
Comprehensive programming and services include:
Three daily nutritionally balanced meals
Needs assessment
Case management
Educational assessment
Life Skills Education
Parenting Education
Referral to mental health nd substance abuse resources
Referrals to primary health care services
Transportation

Our church did a fund raiser for Trinity house and I delivered everything on December 1st to the kiswaukee location. The people that participated in the fund raiser are all very old and on fixed income. All I asked when I made the delivery was for you to send a thank you card to the New Milford Methodist church and gave my address, 3100 Rotary Road 61109. So far I have not received any thanks for the items we brought. I am very disappointed in the organization. I was the person that organized the fundraiser and we had planned on doing this each Nov but I will have second thoughts about this now. Very unappreciative.
