Primary Woman and Family Shelter. Single men, and women have programs with us but on a very limited basis. We provide job training, skills assessment, case workers, and hope to change. We also have several shelters in our organization.We accept large groups to volunteer.

Cornerstone Community Outreach offers shelter and services to homeless and low-income families and individuals through a variety of programs:

CCO Services for Our Neighbors
Shelter Programs for Families (300 parents and children daily)
-Hannah House: Single mothers with children
-Sylvia Center: Intact family units with 2 parents, teenage children, or single fathers with kids
-Leland House: permanent supportive housing for homeless families

Shelter Programs for Individuals (200 single men and women daily)
-Naomi: Single Women. 24 hour shelter

-Epworth: Single Men: Epworth Shelter is located a mile north of our CCO buildings and provides shelter for 65 single men each night. Men sheltered at Epworth receive wrap-around services which include, personalized case management, referrals, and advocacy from CCO staff and partner agencies.

-Case-management assistance, on-site mental
health counseling and medical examinations,
on-site classes, Stepping Stones Daycare
Center, after-school program, and a free
clothing store

Services for our Neighbors
-Food Bags provides groceries to 200
neighborhood households weekly
-Free Store offers clothing and is open weekly
to our residents and neighbors
-Dinner Guests serves a weekly meal for
approximately 250 of our neighbors
