The Salvation Army Family Shelter

The Community Family Shelter (CFS), located in Nampa, provides emergency housing and transitional housing for intact families, women with children and single women. CFS serves families and individuals that are homeless with low or no income. It is the only emergency shelter facility in Nampa for intact families.

Residents may remain in the emergency housing program up to 90 days and the transitional housing program for up to two years. Our comprehensive program includes case management, counseling, education on managing savings accounts, education, three meals per day, access to laundry facilities, a playground for children, personal necessities, transportation assistance, and more.

CFS conducts a daily outreach program for low-income, homeless, or at-risk persons including men by offering hot lunches, showers, laundry facilities, clothing, transportation assistance, bread and other resources.
