The shelter is inside a warehouse in the Honolulu neighborhood of Kakaako. The shelter is accessible through a gated entrance located on Ilalo Street near Forrest Avenue. There is a sign for the shelter on the gate.

Shelter hours: Mondays through Saturdays 5:30pm to 8:30am. Saturdays and Sundays open all day.
Shelter registration and Intake: Mondays through Thursdays 1pm to 4pm. Closed Fridays. All new and follow up applicants are encouraged to be at the Shelter by 1:00 p.m.

Each member receives a shelter ID card upon admission. It is needed to enter and exit the shelter, so please remember to keep it safe.
Eligibility Criteria: Homeless or at risk of being homeless.

Requirements: TB clearance card, Homeless verification letter, documentation verifying income (if applicable), birth certificates (children only).

Services include:
Emergency shelter for families, couples and individuals
Referrals for medical care
Behavioral Health
Tobacco Cessation Treatment
Eligibility assistance
Job training and placement assistance
Housing placement assistance

Dinner provided each night at 6:30 p.m.
Breakfast is served on the weekends and select weekdays
Shower facilities located on the Ewa side of the shelter.
Laundry facilities located next to the bathroom trailers. Open from 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. every day
Computer lab, open nightly from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for children; 8:30 to 10 p.m. for adults.
Hygiene products & clothes available upon request

It’s sad to say that the staff there favoritisms certain people and they really don’t help.. this by far one of worse shelters ever. Not to mention that there where several incidents where a dead body’s was found. They also don’t tell you what the program fees are used for. And you see a hole lot of messed up crap going on. People smoking dope in the bathrooms and staff don’t do anything about it you have the homeless running the shelter not the staff rules get broken left and right and those who don’t bother anyone gets the write and or kicked out. That’s messed up shelters like this should not be running at all.. this place is a unhealthy and unsanitary

Next Step from being homeless it's not a 4 star hotel it's a place to lay your head down, it comes with one meal a day provided by churches or the community, there is portable bathroom with hot showers, they so help with housing depending on funds at the moment so while waiting for housing, there is a program fee of $60 or $90 depending what size cubicle you're able to afford you have no income there are chores to help with room and board they other resources to help get back on your feet, there are common sense rule to follow by the way each person that becomes a resident gets assign a housing navigator so good luck keep clean.

It was there when I needed it. I really appreciated the help. I worked hard to get out of there and have never been homeless since.
