Life Haven Shelter for Women

Life Haven Shelter is a part of New Reach, Inc.,accepts families with a female head of household and women who are 8 months pregnant, provides temporary shelter to homeless pregnant women and women with young children; dependent boys up to age 10 and dependent girls up to age 17.

Each family situation is assessed by a case manager who develops an individuals care plan outlining the goals needing to be accomplished to secure permanent housing.

The care plan is periodically re-evaluated to ensure necessary adjustments to the plan are made according to the needs of the family.
Residents receive intensive case management services throughout their stay a the shelter.

Each resident is assigned a case manager upon admission to assist with a variety of issues including:
Housing, employment, health insurance, budgeting, and more.

Case management also includes:
Linkages to Community Agencies
Individual Assessment and Case Planning
Weekly House Meetings
Life Skills Development
Connection to Clothing and Furniture Services

Services Provided:
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day.
