Homeward Bound

We provide transitional housing and social service facility for families with children fleeing domestic violence and/or homelessness.

Eligibility for Homeward Bound
To be eligible for participation in the Homeward Bound program, a family must:
Have children under the age of 18**
Be homeless, facing eviction, or fleeing a domestic violence situation
Be earning less than 50% of the area median income
Be employed or actively seeking employment
Be free of drug and alcohol abuse
Be motivated to change patterns of behavior
Homeward Bound is a one (1) year program.
Steps to Apply:
1. Complete Pre-Screen Eligibility Questionnaire with Homeward Bound representative. Upon meeting eligibility requirements, a Program Application will be given.
2. Upon completion of the Program Application and required supporting documentation an applicant appointment will be set to meet with program representative.
3. Following the appointment, determination will be made for acceptance into the Homeward Bound Program or referral to another service provider.
**Limited shared-housing resources may be available for single Veterans without children.

  2. It was just a really bad experience for sure. To top it, all off the few staff members also was just as rude and no compassion. Awful experience period.

  2. I suggest going to a different shelter, this shelter really does take a toll on you on top of everything else going on.
