DUE TO COVID-19, our lobby is closed and we are assisting clients through the window.
Until further notice, clients only need a Photo ID and proof of address in Saline County (piece of mail, bill, lease, etc) to get food assistance.
Distribution Times:
Monday: 1:002:45pm & 5:006:45pm
Tuesday Friday: 1:002:45pm
Eligible clients receive a weeks worth of food (dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables and non-perishable food items as available) free of charge. During normal operations, clients will enter the lobby and take a number. Staff will meet with clients in order of arrival to review financial eligibility and make referrals as necessary.
Need pet food? Contact Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter for assistance (785) 822-2753. Sign ups start at 10am, with distributions every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 4pm. Photo ID and proof of address required.
