   I’m thankful I had a roof over my head, access to a kitchen, access to meals, I had a job part of the time (lost it ), had access to shower and toilet facility. Across the street was the public library. Tried to join YMCA but due to conflict could not. Could not work in the onsite daycare center due to living in the shelter. (Rules and regulations) Even though I had skills that I was qualified to work in a daycare setting. That was frustrating. Also tried for job at YMCA which was on the other side of the street and was not granted an interview. I had skills as a lifeguard and as a WSI Swim Instructor in Washington State. I was thankful to have a car that ran, but Parking was very inconvenient. Let’s just say the parking meters did not make things easy at all.
