Winchester Rescue Mission

We offer a place to stay for transients or the homeless for up to 30 nights a month, along with two warm meals, spiritual counseling services, bible study twice a day, and a chapel service nightly. Our changed life program is designed to help offer a biblically based view on the world, build character, and a practical approach to challenges they may encounter in life.

In our overnight program there will be 30 days in residence and 14 days out. After the 14 days out, you can then reapply, providing a bed is available. This program provides a bed, shower and meals for those staying. One must leave the premises by 8:00 in the morning for the purpose of work or looking or work and return by no later than 4 pm.

WORKING MANS PROGRAM
provide housing, food, financial accountability and spiritual knowledge in a loving Christian environment for working men (full time employment) who have no other safe place to live (family or friends). This is a stepping stone for returning to independent living (renting or owning).

This is a 6 month program teaching men to save money and to take care of financial obligations. Men normally must first go through the overnight program before they join the working man program.

This place absolutely made me want to vomit when I was told that you ARE NOT allowed to stay there if you are in a Suboxone program. People that AREN'T doing illegal street drugs and are & have improved their lives CAN'T STAY!! WTF?? UNBELIEVABLE... and I was told to check in at 3 and could not leave. No wonder Winchester is flooded with people struggling with sobriety!!
