Tags Donations Needed: The shelter accepts various types of donations. Monetary donations are always needed. Perishable food items, paper products, cleaning supplies, office supplies, stamps, as well as non-perishable items are needed on a regular basis. Furniture is not accepted due to limited space; however Destiny’s Attic Ministry (419-334-4673) collects furniture and stores it for our residents until they move out. State St.Fremont OH 43420 Volunteers Needed: May be evening, weekend or overnight TO FIT YOUR SCHEDULE Must be 21 years old or come with parent/guardian.Should be able to volunteer 3 hours per month on average.Oversee the shelter in absence of paid staff. Answer phone and take messages Talk with residents Read to children Be encouraging and a listening ear. Record donations that come in during your shift Put away perishable donations.
