The Purpose Of Westerly Area Rest Meals Warm Inc Is To Prevent Or Allevite Homelessness By Providing A Continuum Of Care And Service To The Homeless And Needy, And To Help Them Build Self-Esteem And Move Toward Independent And Responsible Living. The Shelter Has Beds For 13 Males And 6 Females. Warm Is A Drug And Alcohol Free Facility And Random Drug/Alcohol Testing Is Performed. Residents Are Assisted In Legal Issues; Job Readiness Workshops; Referrals For Medical Care; Referrals For Counseling; Transportation; Clothing And Three Meals A Day. Transitional Housing Has 5 Bedrooms With A Shared Kitchen And Living Room For Participants. Each Person Pays Up To $50.00 Weekly And Is Required To Volunteer Within The Shelter.
